How to read the curve
The struck-through price means nothing
Amazon compares against the list price, not against what the product cost last week. The curve shows what was actually charged.
Look at the floor, not the average
A product that keeps returning to the same low will return to it again. If today's price is far above that floor, the discount is not one.
A drop everywhere is not a deal
During sales events every market falls together. The gap between countries usually survives, and that is where the saving is.

- Copy the Amazon product page address, paste it into the field above, and the 90-day curve appears. The ASIN on its own works too: it is the 10-character code in the URL after /dp/.
- Do I need a browser extension?
- No. Zonscope runs in the browser with no extension and no account, unlike Keepa whose curve comes through a browser extension. Amazon has also begun showing its own price history on product pages, likewise with no extension: the difference that remains is that it only covers the store you are on, not all eight.
- How far back does the history go?
- 90 days, which covers a full promotional cycle. Readings come from the markets we track continuously: France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain.
- How can I tell whether a discount is real?
- Compare the price shown with the floor of the curve rather than with the struck-through price. A price near the 90-day minimum is a genuine drop. A price near the average, announced as a discount, is not.
- Is it free?
